Zach Zerman, proprietor of Zerman Restoration, is a native of St. Louis, Graduating from Parkway West High School. He spent many summers volunteering and interning at Habitat for Humanity and earned a degree in construction management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Over the last five years Zach has held qualified positions with local roofing and restoration companies. Roles have included production assistant, quality control managers, field supervisor, production and project manager, fire crew chief, and claims management. His experience has enabled him to gain knowledge of the most experienced work crews, highest quality materials, and thorough service and customer satisfaction.
As a restoration professional Zach’s number one goal is to see your project done the right way, start-to-finish.

Zach was very professional. I called him for a bid to repair hail damage to my roof, gutters, screens, and window wraps. He was careful to explain what I needed and helped with the insurance claim process. Everything was upfront and honest. The work was done in a timely manner and i was very impressed with the results. Working with Zach on my roof project was a great experience. I bought an old house, with a pretty decent roof, several years ago. The flashing was done by someone who apparently did not know what they were doing. Not only was it barely functional, it was ugly.
Fast forward a couple of years, and it was time to get the roof re-done. One of the things I loved about working with Zach was that he used experts for each part of the job: gutters, siding, flashing and roofing. Instead of using the same people or doing all of the work himself, he works the best. He coordinates the process seamlessly, because he believes in active communication; both with his sub-contractors and his customers.
During my job, there was a mix-up with a supplier (not Zach’s fault, the supplier delivered the wrong supplies) and he was able to work around the problem and still get the job done, ahead of schedule! I recommend Zerman Restoration for any roofing job; large or small, recovery from storm damage or simply when it is time for a new roof.

Some strong wind blew apart a small section of Soffit and Aluminum fascia on Friday. Concerned that it would continue to come apart If I delayed a repair too long Zach was willing to come out on a Sunday and fix the damage. Since I had all the pieces that blew off other than the fasteners he was very honest about not needing to give me an estimate on material cost. After he resecured everything he told me why he thought it occurred in the first place (staples instead of actual nails from the previous contractor) and what I should keep an eye on. Before he left I asked him to inspect my roof for damage and was also very upfront about not needing to replace it at the moment. All in all I was glad he was referred to me, would use him again, and would definitely refer to others. I believe he also does gutters and siding as well. Five stars
Zerman Restoration does a great job. Zach is very knowledgeable when it comes to roofing. He also does a great job communicating with clients and once you work with him you will fully agree that he acts solely in the best interest of the client. I would recommend him to anyone.
Zach and his crew are amazing to work with. The roof turned out fantastic and he really stands behind his work. When I had a question, not only did he quickly reply, but he came out right away to make sure the work was done right!

We needed to get our roof replaced quickly and Zach Zerman worked with us to make it happen. He met with us, showed us a variety of options and helped us select our roof. We were amazed at how good of a roof we could get for an affordable price. Work began quickly and the result was fantastic. His crew did a great job with removal of the existing roof, installation of the new roof and clean-up. Our roof looks great. We found it easy to communicate with Zach throughout the process, and he didn’t set us aside when the job was done. We had a follow-up issue a couple of months later and even though the issue was not connected directly to the roof, he fixed it for us anyway. If all contractors were as cooperative, available, thorough and ethical as Zach Zerman, homeowners would never have to worry about being treated fairly. He gets my highest recommendation.
